Spam never reaches your inbox.
You stay in control.
Blockjay connects to the email you already have over IMAP and POP3, scores every message, and gives you one calm app to review what it caught — and correct it. Clean mail, trained by you.
No new inbox. No migration. Works with the mail you already use.

Layers on top of your email — no migration.
Connect Gmail or Microsoft with one tap, or any mailbox over IMAP/POP3. Blockjay filters in the background; you keep the inbox, address, and apps you already use.
The filters you have don't really work for you.
Spam still gets through
The built-in filters miss plenty — and bury real mail in a junk folder you never check.
You can't train them
Gmail and Outlook learn from everyone, not you. You can't teach them what you actually want.
Phishing is dangerous to open
One tap on the wrong link is all it takes. Reviewing junk shouldn't be risky.
Blockjay never deletes your mail.
It sorts it — you decide what to delete. Everything Blockjay catches is moved to a private quarantine, saved in full, and restorable in one tap. The filter itself deletes nothing, ever. That's the whole contract.
The Blockjay loop
Connect once, then review and correct. Your taps are the training — the filter becomes yours within a couple of weeks.
Connect
Add a mailbox over IMAP, POP3, or one-tap Google/Microsoft sign-in. No new inbox, no migration — Blockjay layers on top of the email you already use.
Classify
Every message is scored on nine signals — sender authentication, reputation, fuzzy hashing, and your own history. Only the genuinely uncertain few are ever escalated to our AI — our own self-hosted model, with Anthropic as a fallback.
Review
One calm app shows everything Blockjay caught and everything it let through, each with a score and a one-line reason. No guessing why.
Train
Restore a good message or flag a missed one with a single tap. Every correction trains your personal filter — so it keeps getting sharper.
Confident calls. Careful on the rest.
Clearly valid mail is delivered untouched. Clearly spam is moved to quarantine. Only the genuinely uncertain few are escalated to our AI for a closer read — our own self-hosted model, with Anthropic as a fallback — and even then Blockjay sends only the minimum needed to classify it: sender, headers, and a short excerpt, never your whole mailbox.
Authentication
SPF, DKIM and DMARC — does the sender really come from where it claims?
Reputation & lists
Known-bad senders, domains and IPs are caught before they ever reach you.
Fuzzy hashing
Near-duplicate spam campaigns are recognised the moment one copy is seen.
Your personal Bayes
A filter trained only on your corrections — not a shared, one-size model.
Allow & block rules
Senders you always want, and the ones you never do, honoured every time.
Blockjay AI — last resort
Only the uncertain middle reaches the AI — our own model, with Anthropic as a fallback — and only a short excerpt, never your whole mailbox.
It learns you — not a billion strangers.
Gmail and Outlook train on everyone's mail at once, and you can't steer them. Blockjay keeps a Bayesian filter trained only on your corrections. Every "not spam" and "mark spam" teaches your filter — so it fits how you actually use email, and gets more accurate the more you use it.
Everything in one calm app
Review & reclassify
Spam back to the inbox, missed ones to quarantine — a single reversible tap, with undo.
Safe quarantine
Phishing rendered defensively: images off, links defanged, scripts stripped. Look without risk.
Monitor or enforce
Start in monitor mode — watch it work, nothing moves. Flip to enforce when you trust it.
Allow & block lists
Pin the senders you want and the ones you never do, per mailbox.
Learns only you
Per-user Bayesian training. Your filter, trained by your hand — not the crowd's.
Quiet digests & reports
A daily or weekly summary, plus monthly trends. Email or push. Your call.

The things people ask first
Will I lose any email?
No. Blockjay never deletes your mail — it sorts it. Anything it catches is held in quarantine and is one tap from being restored. You decide what to delete.
Do I have to change my email address?
No. Blockjay connects to the mailbox you already have over IMAP, POP3, or Google/Microsoft sign-in. No new inbox, no migration, no forwarding.
Is my email sent to AI?
Your whole mailbox is never sent to AI. Only the small, genuinely uncertain band is escalated — to our own self-hosted Blockjay model, with Anthropic's models as a fallback — and only the minimum needed to classify it: sender, headers, and a short excerpt, under a zero-retention, no-training arrangement. You can turn AI escalation off entirely.
Is this end-to-end encrypted?
No, and we won't pretend otherwise — a cloud filter has to read mail to classify it. Everything is encrypted at rest, no employee has a path to read your mail, and we're explicit about the trade-offs on our security page.
What happens during Early Access?
New accounts start in monitor mode: Blockjay classifies everything but moves nothing, so you can see exactly what it would catch before you let it act.
Ready for an inbox that stays clean?
Connect your first mailbox in two minutes. Start in monitor mode — nothing is deleted until you say so.
